The murder trial of Alicia Andrews of rapper Julio Foolio, whose real name was Charles Jones is now in progress in a Tampa courtroom.

Prosecutors say that she worked as a lookout while the victim was in Tampa for his birthday. They claim she kept tabs with others who later ambushed the rapper in a Tampa hotel lot.

Three gunmen allegedly opened fire, killing him and injuring three others.

Andrews is charged with premeditated murder and murder conspiracy.

Investigators have presented forensic phone records that they say connect her to the crime. This includes location tracking data and social media posts recovered from her online accounts.

The defense argues that she was unaware of the shooting. The defense says she was just on a trip with her boyfriend.
